Project Prompt
For this project, I had to select a specific piece of information design to Improve. This could be an infographic, report, or any visual data representation. I had to Understand Its big Purpose and determine the design’s primary function. What data or information is it conveying, and what is the project's intended impact?
The piece of information I decided to go with is a timeline of Coca-Cola being one of the world’s most iconic and recognizable brands, with a history dating back to 1886 when pharmacist John Stith Pemberton created the original formula. The brand’s ability to evolve, while staying true to its core identity, has cemented its place in consumer culture, making Coca-Cola a symbol of both tradition and big innovation in the beverage industry which caught my attention and made me want to.

Research
For research, I grabbed a lot of books to find any kind of Information I could redesign. In the beginning, I had a lot of ideas, ranging from redesigning a brochure for a hospital intended for kids to creating a timeline of climate change. But Coca-Cola was the one that caught my attention and ultimately was my final choice for my project.
Mood Board
I decided to go with Coca-Cola because of its rich history and global cultural impact. evolution spans over a century, with significant events such as the introduction of its contour bottle in 1915, its influence during World War II, and its expansion into diverse markets worldwide. These events are visually distinct and offer plenty of material to illustrate the big changes in branding, packaging, and marketing strategies over time. Coca-Cola uses design to convey messages while maintaining a strong brand identity. Additionally, Coca-Cola’s presence in pop culture and major historical events provides engaging touchpoints for people, making the timeline both informative and good-looking.

My Typeface Choice
Agenda
The typeface Agenda is a perfect fit for my Coca-Cola project because of its modern, clean, and highly legible design. Its geometric sans-serif structure gives it a sleek and contemporary feel, making it versatile enough to blend with Coca-Cola’s classic branding while giving a fresh look to any timeline or project. The agenda’s clear letterforms ensure that key milestones and details are easy to read and emphasize clarity, which is essential for conveying any Information effectively in a project focused on history.

Early Digital Iterations
Here you can find some early digital iterations of my project, first I wanted to create an actual label that would be around the bottle but I couldn't find a way to make that work. After my peer feedback, I decided to put more detail into my illustration and include infographics that will give you a better understanding of the timeline.
Early Prototypes Sketches
Here you can find sketches of how I wanted the final piece to look like, it went through many different changes because I ran through many problems with printing and the actual material of the paper. In the end, I decided to go with the last idea because it was the one that worked the best with my overall goal of the project.
Final Digital Designs
Pictures of the Final Physical Design
Looking back on this project, I can see how much growth I've experienced in my design process. At first, my focus was solely on creating something visually striking. However, as I immersed myself in the details, I came to understand that successful information design is about more than aesthetics, it’s about crafting an experience for the audience. I learned to prioritize clarity and functionality while still maintaining visual appeal, striking a balance that makes the information both engaging and easy to interpret. This project pushed me to simplify complex ideas in a way that feels approachable and meaningful. Ultimately, it reinforced my understanding of design as a powerful tool for communication and has helped me create work that is both impactful and accessible.
